Because of its beauty and rarity it is under the country`s protection as a natural monument. Ribnica got its name as it is rich with fish (\u201c riba\u201d) which was main food for the inhabitants of this region for years.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.banjavrujci.info\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/ribnicka-pecina.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.banjavrujci.info\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/ribnicka-pecina.jpg\" alt=\"Ribnicka cave\" title=\"ribnicka-cave\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3644\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The entrance is in the triangle shape, the height is 12m, width25m, in the level of the river waters. The canyon of the Ribnica makes an oasis of natural beauty in the vicinity of large town populations.
