Monastery Ćelije 33km away from Banja Vrujci - the founder of the church and and the adjoining monastery buildings was bishop Nikolaj Velimirovic who was greatly helped by his father Dragomir.

The church was sanctified in 1929. The Bishop Nikolaj passed away on 18 of March 1956 and was buried in Libertyille near Chicago.

His remains were transferred from the USA On the 12th of May, 1991 and are buried in the beautiful reliquary of the southern wall of the nave. A big national celebration took place on that day and since then it has become the place of pilgrimage.
