It is situated at an altitude of 600 to 849 m.
There is also a monument, “1300 kaplara” (corporals) which was erected as a mark of one of the victories of the Serbian Army over the Austro-Hungerian troops in the World War I. Every year, starting with 1965, in mid July there is a famous tourist event entitled “Reaping on Rajac”.
Rajac offers excellent conditions for a proper paraglide uplifting track.
Contestants compete in cutting the mountain grass, and the best of them gets a golden scythe as a prize. The ancient writers of travels called Rajac “paradise on Earth” because of its natural beauties.
